Tip Tuesday – Moist Cookies

Home made cookies are the best! Whether it’s grandma’s recipe or right off the package, it’s hard to beat a fresh baked cookie.  Most times cookies don’t last long around the house, but sometimes they dry out before they get eaten.  We have a helpful tip to keep your cookies fresh a little longer. After you bake your batch of cookies, add a slice of bread to your container. The slice of bread will help to absorb any dry air and gives the cookies the needed moisture needed to stay soft. You’re bread will get hard and stale. Once the bread has dried up, replace with a new slice!
